01 — Voices
You'll recognise yourself in at least one. The perimenopause and menopause experiences women keep describing — and exactly why we built this.
02 — The map
Stage 1 — PRE
The shifts haven't started. The useful moment to know your baseline — before it lands.
Stage 2 — E-PERI
Cycles still regular; symptoms already real. The stage where most women in Malta are dismissed.
Stage 3 — L-PERI
Cycles stretch or skip. Night sweats are real. The HRT window is open.
Stage 4 — MENO
The year of no periods. The next 24 months matter most — bones, heart, brain.
Stage 5 — EP-1
Some symptoms ease; others settle in. GSM and bone trajectory move up the list.
Stage 6 — EP-2
The "second spring." Long-term protection — while the window is still, barely, open.
Stage 7 — L-POST
A different kind of attention now — and the system rarely volunteers it.
03 — The promise
01 — Named
The word your GP probably hasn't said yet. In writing. Ready to hand over.
02 — Staged
Across 7 clinical stages — early peri to late post. So you stop guessing whether you're "in it" yet.
03 — Ranked
The symptoms wrecking your week, ranked. Fix the first one first.
04 — Actionable
Malta-specific moves. Clinic names. Pharmacy reality. No fluff.
Delivered as a private PDF, in under 2 minutes. No account. No call. Yours to keep.
04 — The standards
Every claim here is either traceable to one of the bodies writing the protocols — or it doesn't ship.

Most menopause "quizzes" online take 60 seconds and tell you what you already knew. This one is different.
It takes 5 to 10 minutes, because we're placing you across the 7 clinical stages — not guessing whether you're "in it" or not. Accuracy needs information. Quick quizzes don't have it.
The more honestly you answer, the more useful your PDF. There's no scoring, no judgement, no one watching. Take your time.

Here's what most women in Malta do next.
The map and the directions — everything between "something is off" and a GP appointment that actually works. Built to live on your phone for the next ten years.
The core reading on its own: your stage mechanically, the tests worth paying for, the formulary, and the full GP script. You handle the rest yourself.
"Every page ends in something you can do."

Most menopause content online is written for women in California or Surrey. The Kit is written for a woman who's just sat through an 11-month wait at Mater Dei.
Every page assumes you've already been told it's stress, anxiety, or "just your age." We start from there, not from "have you tried meditation?"
Every private appointment, every dead-end referral, every name and locality is in here. It's the document women in Malta wish someone had handed them in 2024.

Five short documents. No dark patterns. Plain English wherever we can manage it.

Women of Malta sells one thing: navigation for perimenopause and menopause in Malta — your stage, the tests and their euro prices, what the formulary covers, and the exact words for your GP. Here's why that had to exist.
Search history — Tuesday, 03:00
If that trail looks familiar, you're one of an estimated 70,000 women in Malta between 40 and 55 — the perimenopause and menopause years. By the time a woman here types the last search, she has usually been told more than once — by a GP, a partner, a mother — that it's stress, or anxiety, or her age. The word almost nobody says on the first visit is perimenopause: the 4-to-10-year hormone transition before your final period. It has symptoms, it has stages, and it has treatment.
This is the part that should make you angry: menopause is treatable medicine. HRT — replacing the estrogen your ovaries stop making — has been recognised by NICE, the UK's clinical guideline body, since 2015 (guideline NG23). The evidence is public and free to read. What Malta doesn't give you is directions:
The internet doesn't fix this. Telehealth platforms like Midi or Maven can't prescribe to a woman in Malta. NICE tells you HRT works; it can't tell you which GP in Birkirkara will prescribe it, what a hormone panel costs at a Maltese lab, or what to say at reception.
Menopause care in Malta was never short of medicine.
It's short of
directions.
Prices, formulary status, and prescriber lists spoil fast, so every edition is re-verified before it ships — the lab prices by phone, the formulary against the government list. The promise on every Brief: you leave with a name, an address, and a sentence you can say out loud to your GP. If a page doesn't do that, it gets cut.
Women of Malta is an educational service, not a clinic. Nobody here diagnoses perimenopause or prescribes HRT — which is exactly why every clinical statement cites a guideline you can check: NICE NG23, the British Menopause Society, the International Menopause Society. In plain words: this is information, not a prescription. The prescriptions happen in a GP's office. We get you there prepared.
Every email from us is signed with a first name, because nobody wants to write to a department about her menopause. Behind the signature is the small team that researches, writes, and re-verifies each edition. Judge us the way you'd judge any map — not by who drew it, but by whether it gets you there: the sources are cited, the prices are in euro, the prescribers are named. If a fact is out of date, reply to any email and we fix the edition.
Start where every woman starts: put a name on your stage.
— Maria, Women of Malta
The questions we keep hearing, by email and in person. If yours isn't here, reply to any email and we'll add it.
The product is built for Malta: the clinic names, the Mater Dei pathways, the HRT formulary status, and the lab prices are all Maltese — the prices confirmed by phone with the labs themselves, and re-verified every edition. Your data is stored on EU servers under GDPR. Like most small digital products, we work with operations and tech partners abroad; what you're paying for is the accuracy of the Malta facts, and that's where the work goes.
No. We are an educational service. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice. We comply with Maltese SL 458.32 — the law that governs the boundary between educational health content and clinical practice. For medical decisions, always consult a qualified healthcare professional.
The Menopause Brief (€29) is the stage-specific core document: what's happening hormonally at your stage, the tests that show it and their euro prices at Maltese labs, what the government formulary covers, and the exact words to open your GP appointment with. The Malta Menopause Kit (€49) is the Brief plus four more documents: the printable GP Cheat Sheet, the Malta Clinic Directory (named HRT prescribers by locality), the Food & Cravings Companion, and Your Path — a dated plan that sequences all of it. Most women start with the Kit; Brief buyers can upgrade later for €20.
Malta-specific. Clinic names, the Mater Dei outpatient pathway, the public formulary, typical wait times, what a private GP charges — all of it is written for someone living in Malta right now. If you're a Maltese woman abroad, the Brief still applies; the Kit's directory pages will be less useful to you.
By stage and by concern, not by name. The quiz places you on one of the seven clinical stages, and every document in your Kit is the edition written for that stage. Your Path — the plan that sequences the rest — is built around your top 3 concerns from the quiz, with dates. Your name never appears in any file, free or paid. Purchased documents carry a small footer with your email and order number — not your name — so a forwarded copy is traceable back to the order if it's shared without permission; the free quiz PDF carries no identifying mark at all.
The free quiz PDF arrives in under two minutes — usually under thirty seconds. If you buy the Kit or the Brief, the personalised version is generated and sent within ten minutes of payment. Most buyers get it in under sixty seconds.
Yes. Every document is designed phone-first — large text, single column, no tiny tables. It also reads well on a tablet or laptop. The GP Cheat Sheet prints on a single A4 sheet.
No package is shipped. Nothing arrives at your door. The PDF lands in the private email you give us — the subject line doesn't mention menopause. We never call. We never message a household number. If you tick the WhatsApp box, you get one message to a number you specify; we don't message again unless you reply.
No. We have no sales team. We do not phone customers, ever. The only contact you receive is the emails you've consented to — you tick the boxes you want at the email gate — and they all come from maria@womenofmalta.com.
On EU servers, under GDPR. Your quiz answers and email live in databases hosted inside the EU. We don't sell data — to anyone, ever. We use a small set of trusted processors (email delivery, payment processing) and they're all GDPR-compliant.
Yes. Reply to any email from us with "delete me" and your account, your quiz answers, your purchase history, and your email are erased within 7 days. You'll get a confirmation when it's done. You don't have to explain why.
14 days, no questions asked. Reply to any email with the word "refund" and your money is back in your account within 48 hours. You keep the PDF — we don't ask for it back. If you buy the Brief and decide a week later the Kit was the right call, upgrade for €20 instead of getting a refund.
No. This is educational content designed to help you understand what may be happening in your body and to have more useful conversations with the qualified healthcare professionals who do treat you. The Brief explicitly tells you when something is a medical decision your GP needs to make, and we never tell you to start or stop medication. Compliant with Maltese SL 458.32.

01 — Seven editions
There is no "menopause in general." There are seven clinical stages, and what's true at one is wrong at another — the tests worth paying for, the HRT conversation, even the words your GP needs to hear. So the Brief exists as seven editions, one per stage. The quiz places you; your edition is written for that stage alone.
The seven stations — your edition covers one:

"Couldn't I just ask ChatGPT?"
Try it. It won't know Malta's formulary, it can't name your prescriber, and it won't commit to a plan for you — it ends every answer with "talk to your doctor." The Brief is the part that tells you how to make the doctor say yes.
03 — Or the full toolkit
For €20 more, the Kit adds the four documents that turn reading into appointments — the printable GP Cheat Sheet, the Malta Clinic Directory of named HRT prescribers, the Food & Cravings Companion, and Your Path, a dated plan that sequences all of it.
Already decided on the Brief? You can't choose wrong — Brief buyers can upgrade to the Kit later for the €20 difference.
Cheaper than the salivary hormone test you were about to google. 14 days, full refund, no questions — and the PDF stays yours either way.
